Nikon 5700, ASA set at 100, optical zoom at 280mm + digital zoom at 4x (for the equivalent of 1120mm, or about 22x magnification). Shutter speed ranged
from 1 second to 1/15th second. Aperture was wide open.

I've only had the new camera two days, and am still trying to figure it out, but slapped it on a tripod last night and managed to shoot a sequence of the lunar eclipse. The photos are not the best, but I learned a lot for "next time".

Because of the mountains right behind our house, I was not able to get a clean shot until 9:21 p.m.
